I know I said it was not for discussion.

Along with some junk likely written by the same people who are trying to take away from a successful season so they can try and neatly sweep up their own baseball league after trying to destroy the IBL, I got some comments which ought to be shared. Some comments are not fit to print.

"I have had no fewer than ten lawsuits during the last 25 years relative to my manufacturing business. From age discrimination to shareholder disputes naming fraud to OSHA issues, on and on. It is a part of life. People sue. Lawyers throw the whole pot of potentials into filed lawsuits. Usually they are settled or dismissed as there are no grounds. Ocassionally they have some substance. It is a pity that one was so publicized for Mr Baras and is not looked upon by people in the same way. Had one or more of my filed to be dismissed or settled suits been plastered everywhere as has happened here-- I would have given up. Instead, we now employ 210 people and receive awards relative to the benefits we give to the community and our employees. Lawsuits have things thrown in there which may or may not be true. Look at any divorce case. Every person is written up to be cruel and many are abusers. Any shareholder dispute usually has within it all kinds of claims which may or may not be accurate. He has been robbed of all privacy and I hope he still wants to bring baseball to Israel given how he has been treated and what he must be going through. Given how people have tried to destroy this man, we have to believe that there are some personal emotions involved by some people who really need to get a positive life. At least one person is trying to build his career by destroying him. Many are trying to supplement their egos and wallets. They have hooked onto something which is so good and so great and they have responded in irresponsible, evil ways. "

"Especially when a person has obviously worked to make baseball happen and certainly when we can understand that his efforts to retire debt have been handicapped by the consistent and just plain unfair shrieking criticism I am saddened that this has turned into what it has. It has been very unfair and there ought to be more of an outcry about it. I am glad to read your post. Another Fan"

" The only people worthy of making any critique are those people who have set up a new league themselves ----on a different continent! ."

"remember the amazing, amazing successes. http://www.israelbaseballleague.com/. nice to see some are giving back some appropriate and justified support."'Google

The IBL will get through it. There is way too much good. Such good. I expect it is all like birthing pains. I agree that the founders have been beaten. Their intentions were so good and energies so enormous their detractors
cannot even begin to understand it.

What is with people here that they will criticize a new league for having plastic chairs at games rather than bleachers and they will not blink an eye at the constant NOS, the sex scandals, impatient horns, the sarcasm, being minimally cut off in traffic, the trash, and the everyday worse! Long live the IBL. It was a VERY successful first season in reality!!! THE IBL FIRST SEASON WAS THE BEGINING OF SOMETHING HUGELY GOOD. A BEGINNING!!! Now, people should just let it breathe, live and grow without keeping on trying to kill it.

It is just synagogue politics times ten thousand. Ask anyone who has ever run a congregation or been involved in most any other group. Project is higher profile so the screams are hoarser. Stick to it players, management, IBL. You did something that truly is g-d's work.
